Ca-pooh-cino

I’ve always been fascinated with the espresso & latte art that is done at some of those cute cafes. It’s amazing how they are able to create a design out of just the milk foam on the top of your drink. Here I was thinking I wouldn’t be able to enjoy one without going on a European adventure, until I came across the most adorable cafe ever. It’s called the Himalayan Java House located on Younge Street in Toronto. The atmosphere is cozy and tranquil, with only a few spots able to sit and comfy chairs. The Java house offers some quick lunch options that are nice and light to compliment your drink choice. There is a range of warm and cold beverage choices for those who are unsure or not into coffee. What makes this cafe stand out from all of the others out there is the UNBELIEVABLE foam art that they put on your lattes or cappuccinos. Basically you choose your drink and if you don’t state you want a picture they will do a classic little design such as small flowers. If you have a picture of something you want simply just show them or tell the barista what you would like to have and they will work their magic!!!!! It’s unbelievable how talented they are and what they can create in a small cup.  Processed with Rookie Cam

Being the little kid that I am asked to have Winnie The Pooh created on my foam….toooo cute for words. I didn’t want to drink him, but I caved and the cappuccino was absolutely delish.

Mike is not a coffee fan at all, but he does enjoy green tea. He opted for an Iced Green Tea with lemonade…of course I stole a sip (or may two) it was super refreshing.

If you live around Toronto or want a nice day out I strongly suggest you check this cafe out! (I’ve included the link to their Insta so you can check out some of there creations, it’s worth the click!!! Instagram )

Its Been Awhile….

Have you ever struggled with trying to change a characteristic of yourself? Now I am not talking physically, more of a part of your personality that you wish you could fix. Well mine would be consistency. I can say that throughout the majority of my life I have always struggled with being consistent (in many aspects) and with self motivation. I can have all the motivation in the world for others and support there drives or aspirations but when comes to me it is non existent. My goal was to start a blog…and I achieved the creating part, but continuing with it I kinda failed at (see my consistency issues). I started to make up excuses as to why not to sit down at my computer and just go with the flow. Mike kept trying to motivate me “join me while I play my games, sit with me & work on your blog”… or “look at all the different posts you could have done by now”. Well you know what he is completely right (don’t tell him that). There’s so many things I could have shared or talked about…even if its having that moment of just getting things off my mind. Well……I am going to be committed to trying to change myself into the version of what I want to be. Instead of being that girl who looks at the things she wishes she could achieve, create or be…..I’m going to work hard at actually following through with them. Now of course when we try to better ourselves its hard but stay positive, look at realistic inspiration and make simple goals. I am going to start off with my commitment and goals here on the blog…. I am going to post at least once a week on here!!!! If I do more that’s awesome, but starting off with a smaller goal is more achievable.

Is there anything that you guys are trying to work on yourself? What helps to motivate you? Feel free to share any sayings or tips that helps you out! Nothing but positive vibes and support are here! 🙂 xo
